We are sharing our experience to warn others about the massive scam being run by Funvue Holiday & Resort, operating primarily out of Kolkata. Along with similar fraudulent entities like Royal Grand Holidays and Resorts, Funvue Holiday & Resort is part of a well-organized scam network that has been duping innocent customers, especially targeting people from the northeastern states and nearby regions.
We were approached with attractive vacation deals, exclusive international trips, and 4-star to 5-star hotel stays — all promised under a paid membership program. Trusting their glossy brochures and convincing salespeople, we paid over ₹90,000, only to realize later that Funvue Holiday & Resort is nothing more than a scam. Soon after, they started demanding an additional ₹24,000 for bookings, claiming it was a “mandatory advance.”
What we received in return was a basic hotel room worth just ₹2,400 per night — not the luxurious, international accommodation that was promised. When we questioned them, they told us everything had to go through email. These emails take hours or days to receive a response, if they respond at all. Their customer service is nonexistent. None of the customer care numbers listed on their website or Google work. It’s clear that Funvue Holiday & Resort has no proper office setup or after-sales support.
To make matters worse, once we began demanding a refund, the tone of their communication completely changed. Employees became rude, unprofessional, and some even claimed they had left the company. There is no accountability, no escalation point, and no willingness to resolve issues. We were later informed that the membership becomes non-refundable after 15 days — a clause they never emphasized during the sales pitch. Now, we’re stuck paying ₹24,000 annually for three years, with absolutely no value in return.
One of the most shocking revelations was that they collect contact details from car showrooms, calling unsuspecting buyers and inviting them for “free gift” promotions. They then lure them into signing up for these fake holiday packages. It’s a deliberate and calculated scam meant to trap people with disposable income and minimal suspicion.
Funvue Holiday & Resort is not a real travel company — it’s a fraud operation posing as one. Their goal is to extract as much money as possible from customers, offering little to no real services in return. This scam is expanding rapidly, and many others are falling into the same trap due to misleading advertising and fake positive reviews.
We urge everyone to avoid Funvue Holiday & Resort at all costs. Do not fall for their attractive offers, and never share your details. If you’ve already been scammed, report them to the consumer court, cybercrime division, and relevant legal authorities. Let’s stop Funvue Holiday & Resort and similar companies from cheating more innocent families.
